This was demonstrated at the caucus I attended where it seemed everyone was exhaling. A president that is not devicive. He has everyone exhaling....it is ok to love each other, to hug each other, to work with each other for the common good. We all want the same things, lets work together and get it! He has also made all people throw in their race cards. Whites, cannot say he was raised wrong as he was raised by his mother and her parents in the heartland. African Americans cannot say he is not black enough after all he is a true African American, in touch with his African heritage, married to an African American woman. Asians should also take pride in knowing and his step-father was Asian and his sister is half Asian; which makes him more qualified than any candidate as far as race relations, foreign policy , and most importantly understanding issues that affect us domestically. As an African American in this country, the longer he stays in the race, the more I feel the shackles falling violently and loudly from the wrists, ankles and necks of myself and my ancestors who worked hard to build this country and fought and died for freedom .

As far as his record of working with the moderates and conservatives in this country, it frankly has not happened. He has the most liberal voting record of any senator on record. I ask you how would someone with such a strong liberal agenda be able to work or bring together conservatives or moderates? You apparently have been reading to many left wing blogs because reality is several light years away from the galaxy you are existing in. I will also say that if racism still exists in this country it lies with the african americans. In order for Barack to have had the success he has had requires a vast majority of caucasions and non-blacks voting for him. On the other hand he has gained the support of almost 90% of the african vote. This tells me these people are voting strictly on color. I understand this is an opportunity for them to put the first black in office, but you cant have it both ways. Either you vote for the candidate or you vote based on the color of someones skin. My advice is wake up people. Quit spreading rumor and innuendo. Make your comments based on fact not emotion, and please answer one question honestly. If this country and its majority caucasion population were racist how would this man been able to rise to this level in American Politics? Secondly ask yourself, would Al-Qaeda or any other American enemies want Barack Hussein Obama in office or John McCain? Be honest and answer the question as it is stated without emotion and media talikg points. The answer is obvious to all who still base human reality on truth and reason over emotion and rhetoric.To all those who are voting congratulations and may the best man win regardless of color, or media bias.

John McCain for instance. He is running around telling his constiuents that we are winning the war in Iraq thanks to the present surge. Yea right..Five years and we are winning huh..and remember the war was based on a big lie anyway . A lot of folks have forgotten..Hillary Clinton says she will not talk to Iran unless we have pre conditions going into negotiations..what the hell does that mean..that doesn't sound like the democratic way to handle negotiations..and remember she supported the war in Iraq as well..We need someone that is for the people..remember her husband's support for NAFTA..Obama is against american companies going overseas...putting american workers out of work...NEED I SAY MORE...
