Bill Clinton Millenium Network LA Reception
from DipPolitics added 1 May, 2009 at 08:45 AM

Former President Bill Clinton was well-recieved by the audience last night (April 30) at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. On behalf of the William J. Clinton Foundation Millenium Network, Clinton spoke passionately about a number of the world's most pressing challenges. His main message is that youth of tomorrow should not own today's problems. Clinton stated that the first question is always "How much money is it going to take?", instead of "how" to solve the problems. He continued that the youth needs to be the "how" generation, be part of the "How movement". He invited everyone to blitz his foundation's website with questions.
President Clinton was introduced by TV and movie starlet Jessica Alba and Adrian Grenier, star of HBO's Entourage. A number of additional celebrity guests were also on hand, Sarah Silverman, BJ Novak, Ed Helms, and Jonah Hill. President Clinton introduced guest performer will.i.am as the William everyone came to see and praised his work with the Peapod Foundation. will.i.am provided a special set that included Black Eyed Peas' favorite, "Where is the Love?" and his Barack Obama celebration song, "It's a New Day".
